The Democracy Institute for Development (D4D) has launched today's “Monitorisation of the social media goods declaration during local elections 2021x2>.
The release reportedly noted a considerable number of articles and posts that have had irregular information, including articles and posts that have promoted political divisions, insults, harsh and sextic languages, hate speech, drawn from context, false content, manipulated, fabricated and exaggerated titles.
“From the main findings of this research have been found that LVV with 67% is the most targeted political party, while mostly violations of the courtesy declaration have LVV 32%, AAK 27%, LDK 11%, PDK 6%. Meanwhile, hate language, defamatory and humiliating language was the phenomenon used against women candidates and their mother subjects, with a total of 40.43% of these”.
“While the media has noted more exaggerated titles, distorting statements and content of news only with the aim of increasing readership should not be the goal of portals which post the news for the first time, but also of reassigning articles from other portals”, the statement says.
