Croatia's former president, Stipe Mesic, has visited Mitrovica's north this morning. His visit is reportedly under strict security measures.
His escort has stopped at the centre for a moment, telling Kosovo Preis that he had come to visit and that South and North are one and is feeling very well.
Asked by Kosovo, if it felt safe because of the increased presence of police forces, Mesic said that “even if I was alone, I would feel the same way safe”.
Croatia's former president has arrived in Kosovo yesterday and has held meetings with Kosovo state leaders.
