The Ministry of Defence of Great Britain has given an update this morning on the situation in Ukraine. Periscope broadcast.

It is now understood that Russian troops are continuing to move towards Kiev, with most of their army now 30km (19 km) from the downtown Kiev, reports Sky News.

The defence ministry added that Russia has not yet gained control of the airspace over Ukraine.

He noted that Russian victims “are likely to be heavy”, adding that Ukraine “continues to make the resistance imposed throughout the country”. / P ERISCOPI/
