During a statement, he said the United Kingdom would now co-operate with other countries to co-ordinate the way military aid will be distributed, but did not provide further details.
He said the Kremlin was likely to “reflect” on the harsh Ukrainian resistance it was facing, but stressed there was also the danger of more severe attacks on Ukraine. Heappey said also that Britain is continuing diplomatic efforts to convince other countries to exclude Russia from the international bank transfer system Swift.
“is not a unilateral decision the United Kingdom can make, but our position is clear”, he said.
