US Secretary of State Antony Blinken accuses Russia of supporting separatist zones “controlled by its representatives”, with which it implies rebel groups.
He even called this act shameful.
Russia's “movement to recognise “independence” of so-called republics controlled by its representatives is a predictable, shameful act. We condemn them in the harshest terms possible and stay with Ukraine, as I told Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, tonight” wrote Blinken on Twitter.
