Kosovo's chief negotiator, Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, has denied his co-ordinator's claims by Belgrade, Petar Petkov, that the Kosovo side has rejected a trilateral meeting in the dialogue.
According to Bislim, the joint meeting has been aimed at preparing the upcoming meeting of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, reports Radio Free Europe in the Bosnian language.
I've insisted on meeting Petkovitch. However, it seems that the Serb side has not been interested in this, which later appeared before the media, stressing that Bislim refused. This will be confirmed by Lajcak's own cabinet”, Bislim told reporters in Brussels.
Serbia and Kosovo's top negotiators did not meet Tuesday, despite EU efforts continue to organise a joint meeting.
More than ten hours have lasted talks between the European Union Special Representative for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak and representatives of Kosovo and Serbia.
Serbia's chief negotiator, Petar Petkov, said the joint meeting was not held because Bislim refused.
