The news has revealed the chairman of the Foundation Court Union Association in Pristina, Naim Rrustemi, who said the strike will begin by 8: 00 a.m.

But as he said, the administration will participate in court hearings in cases of detention, domestic violence and acceptance of paperwork for not losing complaints.

They are demanding, approval of the Law for the Workers of Court and Prosecutors Administration, about the salaries of administration workers in relation to judges and prosecutors' salaries, linear payments of 150 euros for each worker, 3 euro daily amount, and 3 euro travel fees.

By contrast, the Constitutional Court Administration Union Association in Pristina, on January 25th, 2022, had addressed all institutions with a requirement for implementing their demands.

By this request, they had demanded that the Law be approved for the Court and Prosecutor's Administration, based on the Law for Public Official Change Bill specified at Article 2, points 8.

Also, this association had demanded that the Law for Salaries be adopted, which needs to be sponsored by the MAP, which they believe should eliminate 11 articles that are incompatible with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, in order to become the balance of three powers and judiciary as the third pillar of power to have its full functioning, organisational and budgetary independence.

The court administration's next requirement is to regulate salaries by law-approximation of salaries of judicial and prosecutorial administration workers with that of judges and prosecutors.

Because relevant institutions have been neglecting these requirements, the leadership of the Union Association, its subs, and the Appeals Court Union Association on February 28, 2022, have made the decision to suspend the 2018 strike.

This strike was expected to begin on March 1, 2022, from 0800.

But according to the strikers, emergency nature subjects such as the detention classes and the substances that threaten the human personality (family violence) will be allowed to work, as well as the paperwork addressed by the court to be accepted by the archive staff at the time appointed by the strike council. /Betimy for Justice.
