Within just a week, two statements came from Kosovo, which once again discussed the exchange of territories. ”Cosmo” writes that as heard by Pristina, this is a better solution than forming an association of Serb majority municipalities and preventing future conflicts.
The idea has been brought to the attention by the deputy leader of the main opposition Democratic Party of Kosovo, Rame Buja. He said that if he had to choose between the Association of Serb majority municipalities and the exchange of territories, he is for the exchange of territories, the Austrian medium writes.

According to the Austrian media, he suggested Leposaviqi and Zubin Potoku were given to Serbia. However, it is not about “exchange” northern Mitrovica with Medvedja, Presevo and Bujanocin.
The exchange idea arose, although unofficially, during the EU-led dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo, when Federica Moghrini mediated as EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security. Many European Union members immediately rejected this proposal, including Germany. Under ethnic principle, the exchange of territories is not a solution and opens the Pandora box for further changes to borders in the Balkans.
