ATK sentenced for illegal processing of personal data

“Information and Private Agency with Decision No. 04/22, dated 24.01.2022, has imposed a fine against the Kosovo Tax Administration for illegal processing of personal data. The Kosovo Tax Administration has taken immediate measures in implementing the AIP decision, testifying in this case their readiness for respect of Law No. 06/L-082 for the Protection of Personal Data”, the AIP media report said.

AIP explains that Law No. 06/082 for the Protection of Personal Data has been envisioned, so that any controller, personal data processing, data processing legally, “in contrast to the Agency for Information and Privateness, on the basis of legal competencies, is obliged to undertake appropriate actions and measures until the pronunciation of fines for disrespecting pre-law provisions”.
