The United Nations organisation approved the resolution proposed by the US and Albania.

The news was made known by Foreign Minister Olta Gacka, via a tweet.

The powerful “adoption of the resolution proposed by Albania and the US. The Special Emergency Session of the United Nations General Assembly was supported by 11 UN members. Russia was once again isolated. The world won't keep quiet”.

A few days ago, our country, along with the US, proposed a resolution on the Security Council calling on Russia to stop the attack on Ukraine and to pull all its troops out of this country, forcing Russia to use vetous and clearly showing in the eyes of the whole world how isolated Russia is in this enterprise.

In its earlier release to the media, where she announced Albania's sanctions on Russia, Gacka said: “during today's day, the Security Council will be voted to discuss this resolution at the General Assembly, which will once again demonstrate Russia's extreme isolation in the international arena”.
