Meanwhile, a senior official in the Joe Biden administration has now been quoted by NBC as saying that “Putin has produced threats to justify more aggressive actions”, Sky News reports.
“It was never threatened by Ukraine or by NATO, which is a defence alliance that will not fight in Ukraine”, the official said.
