This Friday, Montenegro's government, led by Zdravko Krivokapiq, has not passed the no-confidence motion, has subsequently collapsed.
Probe has voted 43 MPs, while 11 others have voted against it. The new prime minister is expected to be Albanian Dritan Abazovic, who is expected to form the minority government.
Albanian MP in Montenegro Genc Nimanbegu has said it would be acceptable for an Albanian to be prime minister of Montenegro.
“Abazovic comes from a Montenegrin party and he does not compete as an Albanian in parliamentary elections, as we race and the goals of other political subjects are different than Albanian national subjects national themes they are not close. However, we as Albanians will have the pleasant and acceptable Albanian being prime minister of Montenegro. This is a position which may in the future change interethnic relations”, Nimanbegu has said in an interview in Klan Kosova.
The last “government fell because it was against something, didn't have similar programmes and didn't have rough political goals, and any kind of governance should be clear. We must agree to processes that can still create political instability in Montenegro”, Nimanbegu said further.
