Situate this which forced 6 schools and 221 parallels to go to online learning,” said Bacci.
Bac said the number of vaccinated students remains low, while teachers have largely responded to the call for vaccine.
“To students the number is much lower because the Municipal Education Directorate (DKA) and schools have compiled a statement in which the parent is declared to accept student vaccines or not. We have a low number of student vaccines, while of 1,535 teachers in our municipality, about 98% are vaccinated, while 2% are considered those chronically ill cases, and for which doctors have claimed they have no right to vaccinate”, Bajci stressed.
According to Health Ministry data, Gjakova is the country's fourth-level municipality with mostly vaccinated, totaling 108,708 immune citizens. While in this municipality there are currently about 800 active cases with COVID.
