The Italian flaggoer sailed to the sea area northeast of Ereikousa Island along the way from Igumenica to Brindisi with 237 passengers and 51 crew members.
According to information, the captain of the boat has immediately requested the evacuation of passengers that has been done in a short time using rescue boats.
It is taught that there is a member of the crew easily injured.
The Hydra frigate and three helicopters, five vehicles of the Coast Guard, and an Italian Coastal Watchtower tool were on the scene.
Firemen from the port of Igumenica have gone to rescue.
A fireship from Patra port with a crew of eleven firefighters has gone to the sea area.
Deputy Transport Minister Costas Katsafados, speaking of the SKAI, said that at the scene other than Greek Navy boat has air force.
“The travellers are all good, they're all on rescue boats and they've started gathering them”, the deputy minister said, clarifying that positive is that there are good atmospheric conditions that facilitate rescue labor.
