According to her, this budget is needed to supply countries with vaccines, tests, and medicines through a United Nations-launched program.
“Science has given us tools to fight COVID-19; if they are divided into the world as a sign of solidarity, we can end the coronary as a global emergency this year”, WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebrases said.
According to UN calculations, 92 percent of the required contributions should be provided by the European Union and the world's 20 most industrialized states (G20).
Gordon Brown, ambassador of O The BSH for public health financing has criticised the huge inequality in the distribution of vaccines and access to tests and medicines.
He has stressed that in poor countries there are low levels of vaccines, while in rich states there are vaccines that are expected to expire.
O BSH has intended that 70 percent of the world's population be vaccinated against the coronary in the middle of this year.
