Along the coast in northern Japan, high waves and snow storms can cause snow as much as an inch [60 cm], according to the Meteorological Agency.
Train and aircraft services were cut off in northern Japan, and parts of central and western areas experienced traffic cuts, according to public broadcasters NHK.
Bora started on the weekend of December 17th and left hundreds of vehicles blocked and three dead in parts of northwestern Japan as Niigata Prefectures, Yamata and Aori.
