The chief executive chief of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, Consumption Hodaj, says they are conducting investigations into organising police resignations in the north. He suggests that all resignations have already been approved by the Kosovo Police, due to a 30-day deadline. Hodaj has warned the initiative of procedures against former officials, as not all have delivered the equipment.
Hodaj points out there has also been pressure on Serbian police officers to resign.
The resignation process or approval of the resignation is an administrative process under the Kosovo Police. However, we have conducted investigations and are conducting investigations regarding those responsible for organising the organised manner of resignations and pressure in some cases that police officials have been asked to resign. After all deadlines have passed, the approval of the resignation has been granted. Of course, the police have informed us that all resignations have already been approved because of the 30-day deadline, and now most of them are no longer part of the Kosovo Police formally”, Hodaj claims.
He also stresses that there are cases that, apart from uniform and weapons, other Kosovo Police equipment has not been delivered.
Of course most of them have delivered official equipment involved in weapons and other equipment. At times, there may be cases where all the equipment has not been delivered, and in these cases the procedure for exploitation of official state property will be initiated. Of course, police have the list and have the information and will initiate cases for each one of them, who has not handed over the property of institutions”, the IPK chief chief adds.
Hodaj explains that police have records of former Serb police who haven't done that.
There is information that not all the equipment has been delivered, mostly weapons have been handed over as far as most know. However, this is a part that Kosovo Police have records and have more accurate information because they have accepted the demands for resignation and approved the resignations based on the procedure regulating this issue”, Hodaj concludes.
Last month, police officers, judges and administrative workers have submitted their resignations to challenge the decision on the license plates. Serbian List of Evacuation Warnings were made after the police director's suspension of the northern region, Nenad Djurovic. / KP
