Their dismissal was conditioned on the release of former Kosovo Police members, who were arrested days ago under strong suspicion linking it to the blasts at the offices of the Election Commission.
Such a request was made by Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, on Sunday evening, and was repeated during the day also by Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakic.
But such a request -- for Enver Dugolli, deputy of the Vetevendosje Movement, simultaneously a member of the Commission for Security -- is unacceptable.
There's no more conditioning here and we're not going to allow conditioning, shopping in this matter. The Republic of Kosovo does not agree, as the issue of the former police's arrest is legal issue and will be addressed for the charges. Even barricades are a barrier to the free movement of citizens, and they must be sanctioned”, Dugolli has said.
Dugolli's colleague from this commission, Hisen Berisha, deputy The PDK, the Serbian request, considers it an intervention in the internal affairs of the state of Kosovo.
“Kosovo dares make no compromise in implementing legitimacy, Vuciqi's request is nothing more than interfering with Kosovo's legal and constitutional integrity. There is no compromise on these topics, and on these topics the Government will have the support of the opposition. The government has not exploited the opposition as long as it was the willing opposition for co-operation, but has tried to bear responsibility on some questions”, Berisha has said.
Pantic, former member of the Serbian MUP, was among the officials who resigned from Kosovo Police, which came as a result of the suspension of regional police director Nenad Djurovic, as a result of his refusal to comply with orders related to the decision on illegal plates.
Dejan Pantic, has been arrested Saturday under suspicion that he has organised the attack on the offices of the Election Commissions.
Immediately after his arrest, Serb groups in the north of the country have placed barricades on roads leading to two border points -- Jarinje and Brnjak -- until numerous incidents were reported, with armed attacks on Kosovo Police officials
