This area has already come up with orange color, which represents a higher level of risk in case it is visited.
Because of increased tensions in northern Kosovo (Leposaviq, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and north of the city of Mitrovica), this area's color code differs from yellow to orange”, the ministry said, according to Dutch medium Travelpro.
The color code of councils for travel for the rest of Kosovo is yellow. Travel north of Kosovo (Leposaviq, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and northern Mitrovica only if it is necessary”.
It's not safe to go on vacation in orange areas. Only go if necessary. For example, family visits in cases of death, serious illness, or accidents. Or if you have to be there with a job”, it says this announcement.
The Dutch government has also told their citizens that they can go according to the fun in this area, but that they will accept less help if something happens to them.
“Do you want to go north of Kosovo anyway? Then it remains your responsibility. Prepare well. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will probably be able to help you less if you get into trouble”, this announcement is indicated.
We remember that the situation in the country's north has deteriorated last month after the barricades were placed on the streets. However, since Thursday this week, barricades have begun to leave.
