Gynecology's chief and chief nurse removed for the baby's case in Pec

The last week for General Hospital staff in Pec has been very serious, considering the treatment of the dead fruit. We find once again the opportunity to express our deep and sincere sympathy for our parents and for all citizens throughout the country who have been rightly disturbed and indignant.

Everything that has happened is being investigated by the prosecution since the day that has been understood about the serious event. Other administrative measures have also been undertaken.

We are aware and have our mission to give the country news of success in treating and healing patients. Unfortunately, we haven't done it.

We want to ensure public opinion that however serious the event is, it is without purpose, but has come as a disregard for strict protocol of action in cases of dealing with the dead fruit.

Once again we have to point out that we as hospital personnel feel the deepest regret for this event.

Although the whole event was unintentional and caused by the carelessness of some of our workers, it does not diminish the heavy weight of our case and regret.

We also want to stress that claims that the hospital has tried to hide the case do not stand at all. Here we are presenting chronology so that everyone is informed of what the justice organs are already informed of:

The surgery abortion occurred on the night of 13,12,2022, while the event of the dead fruit took place in 14,12,222. When informed of the event, the hospital management informed the police bodies and the same day until late hours, we offered our full co-operation to the police, the Prosecutor's Prosecutor and Health Inspectorate who were on the scene and at the same time was informed of the SKKKKKKKK's story.

On the same day, Kosovo police have announced the opinion with a communiqué investigating the case, while it is well-known practice that for sensitive cases, with some involved in realising investigations, information is provided reserved.

We note with responsibility that despite police reporting the case, we have not had a single request from the media for information concerning this case. Of course, we have considered the next fact stated by family members not to burden our mother's condition further, since she was not yet aware of the event.

We have also initiated further disciplinary procedures, and in this case seven hospital employees have been suspended, dated 16,12.22, immediately after identifying who was involved in the responsibility of action or inaction.

Today, as a continuation of the disciplinary measures has been dismissed, chief of the Gynecology Department and Chief of the Gynecology Department have been dismissed, while we await the completion of all our disciplinary procedures, but especially the findings of the law enforcement authorities involved in the investigation to undertake further actions to anyone involved in this case.

We are preparing the plan for taking other measures that will improve our internal organisational procedures and reflect on it in the coming days.
