The other side of Belgrade: This is the goal of barricades in northern Kosovo

The fire, which is trying to start in northern Kosovo, is described as dynamite under the Balkan barrel. In Belgrade, though small, there is another side of attitudes related to the tense situation. All of those who are making a repeat of Knin's writings, and thanks to historical resources we know that in 1991 they [...]
All those who are repeating Knin's writings, and thanks to historical sources we know that in 1991 they were corrected by Belgrade, a series of conflicts are again beginning and pushing the entire region into danger and great uncertainty, says Serbian historian Milivoj Beslin for Danas.
In the question of who is actually being replaced “by barricaders, whether it is the Mafia group that controls Kosovo's north and their ties to Belgrade, or Serbs from Kosovo, some analysts in Belgrade agree it is the abuse of ordinary people.
Kosovo situation is even more complicated by the role of criminals, whose ties reach as far as Belgrade. As in any other case, the Serbian Progressive Party has gone deep into crime, so Milan Radovici and Zvonko Veseliniqi are rewarded with tenders to build the infrastructure, pave the streets in Belgrade and fix little for Vuciqi's needs in Kosovo. This cannot be good for anyone”, says Serbian MP Radomir Lazovic.

According to historian Milivoj Beschlin, the barricades are the barrier to normalising life in northern Kosovo, they are barrier to the fight against crime and efforts to establish rule of law, the Express states.
And their main goal is to maintain the state of frozen conflict as a first-class Russian interest so that this conflict, with the will of the regime in the Kremlin, can melt and the Balkan front can be opened as a necessary reserve front for Putin”, he says.
Unfortunately, Beslin adds, the unique views and goals of all former regimes in Belgrade, as well as almost all opposition structures, are fully in line with Putin's criminal army's intentions.
The Balkan Front “is needed for Putin to mask Russian humiliating defeat in Ukraine. Any attempt by the Vuciki regime and its criminal structures to be Russian prosecutors in the Balkans takes us directly to a catastrophe that is not yet armed, but neither is it excluded”, he points out.

Radomir Lazovic says that “in long-term terms, resolving all technical issues should be eased”.
Must a new small war be fought on any issue in negotiations? Not all issues imply recognition or non-recognition of Kosovo. Is it possible to solve the life issues of people at the table first and thus be allowed, for example, not to have to smuggle drugs, move freely, have quality education in their language and health care?”, the Serbian politician asks.
The formation of an association of Serb majority municipalities, he points out, as well as the maximum protection of culture, historical and artistic heritage, is something he says “cannot be the problem for Kosovo”
