ZER fines KESCO at 8.4m euros and KEDs at 2.7m euros

At this session, the ZERE Board has reviewed the final assessment regarding findings presented by ZRG professional staff. The RRE in monitoring reports and has approved the proposal for administrative measures with fines for KESCO at the value of 8.4m euros and for KEDS at 2.7m euros. It has become known in a ZER media communiqué without providing details about fines.
Within the requirements under this session, the Board reviewed and approved two requirements for multiple power supply licenses (tradia) as well as approved regulatory parameters for COST and KEDS for the period 2023-2027. The ZERE Board reviewed initial monitoring reports for COSTT and KEK, after reviewing the ZERE Board, has decided that reports to be sent to the parties to provide their written comments on the found violations, within fourteen days of accession.
Also at this session, the Board has adopted several other proposals for operators in Kosovo's electricity sector that deal with the Alykim Elymics of capacity rules at the border of bidders served by the South East Europe Co-ordinated auction office (SEE CAO), as well as amendments to the code for land access and buildings.
At this session, the board adopts 14 requests for obtaining authorisation of solar panels for self-consum, out of which 9 have been submitted by physical persons and the rest remaining by various companies with a total of 503kW.
Part of the review by the board has been several consumer complaints and other issues that concern the functioning of the sector as well as the Energy Regulatory Office. /Periscopi/
