The data from the external trade of goods points to a 13 per cent trade deficit in October 2022, in proportion to the same period in 2021, worth 402.3m euros, compared to the deficit of 355.9m euros in 2021. Export covers import 17.7 per cent”, the ASS points out, conveys Telegrafi.
“Export of goods in October 2022 was worth 86.4m euros, while import 488.7m euros, which is an increase of 19.1 percent per export and 14.1 per cent per import, compared with the same period in 2021<18x1>, the report adds.
According to key export data, 20.7 percent make up minerals, followed by 18.5 percent making up basic metals, 14.9 percent make up different products produced, 13.3 percent make up plastic, tires, 7.1 percent make up prepared foods, drinks, and tobacco, and 5.3 percent plant products.
While major import groups make up mineral products at 16.8 percent, followed by machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment at 11.8 percent, 10.3 percent make up basic metals, 10.2 percent make up prepared foods, drinks, and tobacco, 10.2 percent make up chemical industry products, 7.6 percent make up transportation, and 6 percent make up plastics and tires.
Kosovo's <x0ports in European Union countries reached 37.7m euros, or about 43.7 per cent of total exports, with a 65.5 per cent increase. Meanwhile, imports stood at around 203.3m euros, or 41.6 per cent of total imports with a 15.7 per cent increase of”, followed by the AK.
The main EU goods export partners are Slovenia at 14.1 percent, Germany at 10.1 percent, Italy at 5.4 percent, and the Netherlands with 3.3 percent. While imports with the highest turnout were from Germany at 10.6 percent, Greece was 4.8 percent, Italy at 4.7 percent, and Belgium by 4 percent.
In October 2022, Kosovo's exports with CEFTA countries reached 28.5m euros, or 33.1 per cent of total exports with an increase of 18.4 per cent. The main partners were North Macedonia with 12.9 percent, Albania at 8.7 percent, Serbia at 6.4 percent, and Montenegro by 4 percent.
Meanwhile, imports amounted to 83.2m euros, or 17 percent of total imports, with a 7.9 per cent drop. Countries with higher import turnout were Serbia at 7 percent, Albania at 4.4 percent, and North Macedonia by 4 percent.
Kosovo exports with other countries of the world reached 20.0m euros, or 23.2 percent. As more important partners in these export countries, the U.S. is worth 9.4 percent and Switzerland by 8.5 percent. As long as imports reached 202.1m euros, or 41.4 percent.
