Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Donika Grovalla has travelled to London, where she will participate in the International Conference on Prevention of Sex Violence in Conflict.

Minister Gervalla attends this conference at the invitation of Great Britain's Foreign Secretary James Cleverly.

According to the foreign ministry, during conference works, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diasporas Gervala will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with counterparts, various representatives of participating states and international organisations.

The conference will focus on the global response to sexual violence in conflict, its prevention, the support of survivors and children born from sexual violence in conflict, and the promotion of better actions and practices to create responsibility for the perpetrators of this violence.

The International Ministerial Conference for Prevention of Sex Violence in Conflict is held from 28-29 November in London of the United Kingdom, under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain”, the MPJD reports.
