Kosovo's Statistics Agency publishes, for the first time, the statistical report on High Education Statistics in Kosovo, according to academic year study fields 2021/2022, writes Periscopi.
The publication of data on the number of enrolled students, according to study fields, is an important clue to making a comparison about the areas of study for which students are being identified in their Bachelor and Master studies.
According to results released by this publication, the largest number of registered students -- for the first time -- in higher education at the Bachelor level -- has been noted in the fields -- business, administration and Law with a total of 5 184 students, or in percentages, 28.1% of the general number of students.
Meanwhile, in terms of the overall number of students who attend higher education at the Bachelor level, you see the large gender gap in the field of education, where of 4352 students, 92.6% are women and 7.4% are male.

However, from the total number of students registered for the first time at Master Level, 1849 students are enrolled in the fields -- business, administration and Law -- or, in percentage, 37.2% of the total number. And there are small numbers of students registered in the fields: Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing and Veterinary, with a total of 90 students, or 1.8% of the total.
Similarly, compared with the total number of students who attend Master's higher education, the number of students who attend field studies -- business, administration and Law -- with a total of 5 149 students, or 43.4% of the total. /Periksopi/
