First lady of Ukraine: We Will Endure

Ukraine's first lady, Olena Zelenska, told the BBC that Ukraine will face this coming winter, despite the cold and power cuts caused by Russian missiles, and will continue to fight because “without victory cannot have peace”. We've had so many terrible challenges, we have [...]
“We have had so many terrible challenges, we have seen so many victims, so many disasters, that power cuts are not the worst thing that happens to us”, says Zelenska quoted a recent survey in which 90% of Ukrainians had indicated they were ready to live without energy for two to three years if they could see the prospect of membership in the European Union.
All Ukrainians will become stronger because of this war, the first lady of Ukraine predicts in all its history.
You know, it's easy to run a marathon when you know how many miles it has”, she says. In this case, however, Ukrainians do not know the distance to run. “Sometimes can be very difficult,” she says. “But there's some new emotions that help us keep”.
Ukraine's president, Vladimir Zelensky, and his wife were in love from high school. They continued working together in a mood body and in a television studio, he was a comic actor and one in the background, a screenwriter. When he ran for president three years ago, she made it clear that this was not a life she wanted. But this war has put him in the spotlight, on a global scene.
The nights where the whole family had dinner are already rare. Olena with their children, 18-year-old Oleksandra and Mayello 9-year-olds, are missing.
I live apart with my children and my husband lives at work”, she explains. We're all short of the simple things to sit down, not to look at the time, as long as we need”
But not only their lives have been reversed but also the lives of every Ukrainian. From engineers to dancers now fighting on front lines to about eight million, mostly women and children, forced to flee to new lives across the border.
By carefully violating this political minefield, the first lady is classy. We all understand that without victory, there will be no peace. It would be a false peace, and it would not last for a lot of”.
And what does <x0fitre” mean for it? She answers without hesitation. A return to normal life sometimes seems to have put everything on pause”.
