Martens writes that Prime Minister Kurti in this interview has indicated that he has compromised the license issue after being warned by the American ambassador to Pristina, Jeff Hovenier, that the situation north of the Republic of Kosovo “could be severely and irreversibly”.
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung's journalist reported that many other issues, such as visa-free travel for Kosovars to the EU since 2017, Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, were also addressed in the interview.
