Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has said the Franco-German plan for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue published days ago cannot be true.

He said he doesn't understand why this plan has been public at this time, but that speculation and tact of this nature has been ongoing.

Krasniqi appealed for international attention to be fully exploited.

According to him, Prime Minister and President Osmani must take this situation seriously and express the demand to discuss it so that they can reach the final agreement with mutual recognition.

Could not be the real plan. I don't understand why such a plan has been published, but speculations of this nature, the tact of this nature has always been with the publication of so-called non-papers. The Franco-German plan itself includes above all an international co-ordination we have not seen in relation to Kosovo for many years. So at the time when global diplomacy attention is concentrated in Ukraine and global developments this co-ordination with the US and EU in relation to Kosovo and the interest to send Kosovo dialogue to a new level- Serbia should be taken very seriously because it doesn't often happen to have this international attention and interest”.

“Prime Minister Kurti but also President Osmani must take this situation seriously and express their demand and commitment to discuss the Franco-German plan, but to accept it as such now and good is that it is not a request or permission but to express Kosovo's readiness to engage and negotiate the text which must result in final text with the involvement of the more state aspirations of Kosovo because it is the final agreement which must result with mutual recognition”

After Kosovo's declaration of independence, Chairman Krasniqi said that no Government has completed the mandate, stressing that even Kurti will not make four years of government, reports EO.

According to him, going to the polls can only happen if the prime minister resigns, otherwise says the PDK is willing to take over the country's leadership.

Kosovo “Unfortunately, especially after independence no government has completed the mandate. Even this government does not believe that it will complete the term at regular times. But going to the polls now can only happen if the prime minister resigns and surrenders. I hope the prime minister who has taken the trust of so many citizens is not a man who surrenders. If he surrenders, we are willing to assume the responsibilities of leading the country”.

Speaking of forming association, he argued that nobody wants Kosovo to create a Serpska Republic.

According to him, the international demand is forming association in accordance with the Constitutional Court's act without jeopardising sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“Association will be part of discussions of the Franco-German plan. Nobody asks Kosovo to create a new Serpska. No one has asked in the past from Kosovo to establish association either. Prime Minister Kurti must seriously address this concentration of international interest and assistance to engage in the discussion of the plan and express Kosovo's positions, including association. But, however, in accordance with the constitution and with an act of judging the Constitutional Court and without jeopardising the unitary character of our state, sovereignty and territorial integrity”, Krasniqi said. / EO
