A study published by the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology says that unfiltered coffee contains substance that increases bad cholesterol in blood.
According to research director Doug Thelle, a professor at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, using filters contributes to the health of the entire organism.
All kinds of coffee both Turkish and other types contain high amounts of substances such as cafestol and kahueol.

Studies have shown that these substances can increase triglycerides and levels of bad cholesterol.
Study Data
For a study published by the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, researchers investigated whether any particular method of preparing coffee was linked to any higher risk of premature death, heart disease, and stroke.
More than 500,000 Norwegian adults between the ages of 20 and 79 fulfilled polls on their daily and health for two decades.
During this period of time, approximately 12,000 participants died of heart disease, 6,000 lost their lives from a vital heart disease, and nearly 3,000 others from strokes.
In the end, researchers found that members who drank filtered coffee had 15% less chance of an earlier death.
People who consumed between one and four cups each day had the lowest mortality rates in general.
That figure also includes those who did not consume any coffee.
The data, both for those who consumed coffee and those who did not consume any coffee, was almost the same, and according to experts, confirms the help that this type of coffee preparation provides for the organism.
