Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi stressed the importance of focusing talks on the full normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, and that we should not allow deliberate distractions from talks on full normalisation by actions aimed at escalation on the ground”, the announcement said.

The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, held bilateral meetings in Brussels with the European Union's Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajčak.

At this meeting, the road ahead in the dialogue process was discussed. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi stressed the importance of focusing talks on the full normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia and that we should not allow deliberate distractions from talks on full normalisation by actions aimed at escalation on the ground.

Kosovo remains committed to principled dialogue and we are interested in building good relations with all our neighbours. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi reiterated Kosovo's interest to continue with regular meetings in Brussels for elements of full normalisation of relations, with mutual recognition in the centre.

The parties also discussed options for successful converting all illegal plates to legal ones.
