Bajrami: 2023 budget does not envision the Law of Salaries and the Increase of Pensions

Democratic League of Kosovo MP (LDK), Hykmete Bajrami, has said that “budget for 2023 does not envision implementation of the wage Law, nor does it foresee pension increases”. It has accused Kurti Government of not counting on inflation that has hit citizens, not reflecting on the increase in wages.

When Kosovo is facing inflation, the Government of Kosovo has proposed the largest <x1-budget in history”, which did not include pension increases. There is no preemptive or cost in implementing the Law of Pays. So, there was no wage growth, no presumption of pensions and salaries for the body's body inflation rate”, Bajrami wrote on Facebook.

It has said that inflation is 12.7 percent of the basic basket's growth exceeds 50 percent.

“mostly inflation is affecting families without incomes and low incomes”, she said.

In all this situation, the government has no plans. Maybe this Government is planning to leave because so far we're looking at no minimal steps to deal with this heavily-weighed” situation.

The ruling “Party and the entire Government are trapped on the license plate theme. They have turned dialogue with Serbia to central topic. Confrontation with the US and the EU have made dailyity. And, they have no solution for economics, no solutions for education, no solutions to health either.

Perhaps, the ruling and entire government party are working on propaganda videos about how “Kosovo is becoming like Croatia”, Bajrami has declared.
