More than 25 million people will be in danger as Tuesday's powerful storms will move across the region stretching from eastern Texas to Indiana and Georgia. The affected cities include New Orleans, Memphis and Nashville in Tennessee and Birmingham, Alabama.
Parts of Louisiana and Mississippi will be at the highest risk of severe storms Tuesday afternoon and evening, with the possibility of severe weather continuing until Wednesday and moving to Alabama.
