33th anniversary of the fall of martyrs Africa Dzitia and Fahri Fazliu

Today it is 33 years after the fall of the two martyrs Fahri Fazliu and Afrem Gitia, of the Podujevo municipality. Fahru and Afroim fell on November 2, 1989, on the Sun Coast in Pristina, after an uneven fight with enemy forces.
Fahri Fazliu was born in 1963 in Lausha, Podujevo. He finished primary school in his home country, while he finished high school in Pristina. He also attended the 1981 demonstrations. He continued his activities in the liberation of his homeland at all times even at his place of work and wherever he was given the opportunity.
Africa was born in 1965 in the village of Lluga, Podujevo. The primary school was conducted in its home country, while the high school in Pristina. In 1982, as a third year high school student, the Kosovo National Liberation Front is placed in the illegal organisation. In 1984, friends were arrested and sentenced to four years in prison.
On November 2, 1989, Dzitia and Fazliu were surrounded in the region of the Serbian Sun Coast, and after an uneven fight with the enemy from 12:45 to 7:00, the two natives crashed heroicly.
