According to the New York Post, Lucy Standey claims dozens of women were victims of her father, Donald Dean Standey.
She estimates that the number of his victims may be up to 70 women over the course of 30 years, and according to her father had forced her brothers and sisters to throw corpses into a well.
“I know where women are buried”, Lucy Standey said in an interview for Newsweek.
Whenever I went to the well or hills, I thought I would never return. I thought she was gonna kill me, the wife adds. County Sheriff Fremont Kevin Estrup said he sent a group for inspection and that dogs had sniffed out decomposing bodies.
The history she's showing is terrible, but we have no evidence but the reactions of trained dogs. We need more evidence,”, Aistrup told Des Moines Register, acknowledging however that the results could lead to the launch of investigations.
According to his daughter, Donald Standey seduced women, mostly sex workers or travelers passing through Omaha or Nebraska on his farm in Iowa where he killed them.
He also died in 2013 at the age of 75. Her brother Standey committed suicide at the age of 39. It is unclear whether any of Standey's brothers and sisters have spoken with the authorities.
Standey claims that as she grew up, she told her father the truth about her teachers, priests and police officers in Ioga and Nebraska, but no one believed her.
