Kosovo in the European Commission's Progress Report is praised for some progress it has made in various areas, but more work and progress are required in implementing reforms.
Kosovo, too, is praised for adapting to EU attitudes towards Russia's aggression in Ukraine.
Repeated that the European Commission remains in the position that Kosovo has fulfilled all criteria for visa liberalisation.
The report stresses that there is a feeling the EU Council will deal with the issue urgently.
During the speech, Varhely also said that Kosovo has met all conditions for visa liberalisation as it relates to dialogue on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, the report recalls that there have been regular meetings in Brussels at the level of top negotiators, while citing the August 18th meeting between leaders of both states.
Both countries are required to fulfil all agreements reached earlier in the dialogue, while urgent commitment is required to reach a comprehensive agreement that would normalise relations between them.
