Ukraine has freed over 600 settlements over last month

The Ukrainian Army has recovered over 600 settlements from Russian forces over the past month, the Minister for Reintegration of the Powered Territories temporarily said, as Moscow continues to conduct air strikes on several cities by killing civilians. Meanwhile, Britain's Defence Ministry, in daily update for the war in Ukraine, said on October 14th that in the last three days, pro-Russian forces have made tactical advances towards the centre of Bahmut, in the eastern region of Donjeck.

Zelensky said Ukrainian forces are protecting Bahmut with “clever and heroic actions”.

Meanwhile, Zelensky during a virtual address to the Council of Europe on 13 October said Ukraine needs to defend the sky.

Western countries have promised to send air defence systems to Ukraine. Britain said it will give Kiev rockets for advanced antiaircraft system NASAM that the Pentagon has announced will send to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
Britain has also said it will send hundreds of fears and logistical support to Ukraine, plus 18 obues.
Other NATO states have also promised to provide Ukraine with medium- and long-range missile systems.
Meanwhile, evacuees from Harrison are expected to arrive in Russia on October 14th, as an official installed by Moscow suggested residents would leave for security reasons, while Ukrainian forces are making progress in this region, which Moscow claims to have annexed.
