1. Council: Approval of the negotiating position on the Council.

2. EC/ EP/ KBE/: Agreement between the Council and the EP, Trialogue (Trialogs are informal trilateral meetings for legislative proposals between representatives of Parliament, Council and Commission. Their goal is to reach a temporary agreement on an acceptable text for both Council and Parliament)

3. European Parliament: Voting in the Plenare session of the European Parliament's first-ever simple majority reading, in the second absolute majority)

4. Council: Approval by COREPER II Ambassadors

5. Council : Admission from the Council of Ministers by Qualified Majority, or what is called a double 55% majority of member states, representing at least 65% of the EU population

6. Signing ceremony

7. Publishing in the EU Official Journal

8. Enter into force.
