So writes the Serbian newspaper “Danas” this Saturday, quoting Dragan J. Vucicevich, who is editor-in-chief and owner of the “Informer”, who has stated that there is reliable information that Vuciq is planning to resign.
“Dragan J. Vucicevic said that according to information he has from Serbian president's collaborators, Aleksandar Vuciq plans to step down to leave the other “dici” to impose sanctions on Russia and recognise Kosovo's independence, in a situation where pressure on Serbia for these two movements is so great that the country cannot afford”, this newspaper has written.
Vucicevic said in a TV presentation he cannot verify information he has because of the complicated “cyst”, directly with Vucicin, because he cannot contact him but insists they come from the president's associates by the government.
As Danas writes, in case Aleksandar Vuciq resigns should inform the public who has resigned and can explain the reasons for the move.
Serbia's constitution says that if the president of the Republic resigns, is dismissed or obstructed from carrying out the task, he is replaced by the National Assembly Speaker for the maximum of three months.
If Aleksandar Vuciq, who holds the post of president of Serbia, resigned, Serbia would be led by Vladimir Orlic, a member of the ruling SNS.
