As Kosovo Online has learned, 48-year-old suspect of initials S. S, has been arrested in Budapest on 15 October at the request of Kosovo justice authorities.
According to the report, Hungarian authorities have asked authorities in Pristina to hand over all necessary documentation regarding the case until November 26th, 2022, as well as to provide a guarantee that the person in question will not be followed for other works except those described on the international warrant.
Today during the day, the Kosovo Special Prosecutor has confirmed the arrest of a Serb war crimes suspect with the S.S. initials.
The prosecution has issued a verdict on the launch of the investigation because it is suspected that during the period of March 26th to May 28th 1999 it has participated in the conduct of criminal acts that concern war crimes.
