The arrest of five suspected persons has been made on reasonable suspicion and provided evidence, that suspects by interacting have received and used counterfeit banknotes on at least five cases occurring at different times and locations in South Mitrovica in the market.
In quality of material evidence, three bank notes of 50 euros have been confiscated, which will be prosecuted as evidence of criminal prosecution.
As a result of the investigation, from the five suspects two of them have resulted in being sought by the Court for other criminal acts of the same have been sent to the punishment, while the other three suspects at the order of the case prosecutor have been released in regular procedure.
