Kurti government drags down Bill on Missing Persons

The newly sought, highly-intelligible draft law on missing persons has yet to be adopted by the Government. The justice ministry says the draft has been sent to the prime minister's office, until the families of missing persons say they have lost patience. The prime minister's office has provided no information on preparing the bill.

The law Bajram Qerkeyni mentions is not known what phase of preparation is found.

The government of the Republic of Kosovo, with the ruling no. 04/107, dt. 18.06.2019 has approved the concept of the document on missing persons. Since the options of the concept of the document adopted in Government, except Law No. 04/L-023 for Missing Persons, where the Ministry of Justice is a Master, has also affected the scope of two other laws, laws these that the Ministry of Justice is not a fabler, as they are: Law No. 04/L-054 for the status and rights of martyrs, disabled, veterans, members of the Kosovo Liberation Army, civilian victims and their families, and Law No. 04/ The L-131 for state-funded pension schemes, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, at the request of the Ministry of Justice, has carried this bill to the Legal Office of the Prime Minister's Office and included it in the Legislative Programme under the KPC. ”

But from Prime Minister Albin Kurti's office for two days has returned no response to when this bill could be processed in the Assembly.
