Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has today met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the 30-Jubilar Congress of the European Socialists Party, with which, according to the government's announcement, has talked about current issues and relations between Kosovo and Germany.
No more details concerning the meeting have been provided in the government's announcement.
“With the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz, Prime Minister Kurti talked about very good bilateral relations between Kosovo and Germany, as well as the current” issues, the media communiqué says.
It is also known that the prime minister at this congress has congratulated Stefan Löfven on his new position as president of the Party of European Socialists, while he has thanked Sergei Stanische for his contributions as the current president of WHY.
The announcement also provided details of other meetings Kurt held in Berlin. With one of the leaders of the German Social Democratic Party, Lars Klingbeil, Kurti has talked about Germany's increased attention to the Western Balkans.
In a meeting with Mr. Lars Klingbeil, co-director of the German Social Democratic Party, spoke of Germany's added attention to the Western Balkan region, as well as the importance of regional co-operation under the Berlin process”, the report said.
In conclusion, the prime minister is said to have attended the leadership dinner, where the case is addressed to state leaders, European commissioners, party leaders and other participating representatives.
“In this congress of Social Democrat parties, the policies were discussed in response to international security changes, increased energy prices and inflation, the crisis caused by Ovid, climate change and social challenges in Europe”, it says in the end.
We remember that Kurt has been given a deadline to respond to Schultz's Macrono for the proposals their advisers brought him.
This is confirmed by Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, who decided to issue in some details about the French-German initiative to find a Kosovo-Serbia agreement. He said he knows all the details, but was cautious about what the proposals contain.
Asked whether Paris and Berlin are engaged in an ignorant agreement, Bislim was short and did not mention “the recognition agreement in the centre”. “That's what carriers should talk about when they think it's the right time to talk to”, he said.
