He tried to kill his wife with cable, 18 years in prison for Kosovo in Vienna

An Albanian family in Vienna has spent years under terror, as the family head exercised psychological and physical violence against his wife and 10 children. Since 2009, it has reportedly been using continued violence against his family. At one point it is even taught that he has attempted to kill his wife [...]
At one point it is even taught that he has attempted to kill his wife with electric cables. Because of these accusations, the 42-year-old man was forced to appear before the Vienna Regional Court last week.
According to Austrian media, the Albanian regularly attended a casino in Czechia, while closing the family in their apartment. If he lost his money in the casino, he would return home and all his grief and return with violence against his wife and children and threaten them with life.
After many years of systematic violence, the mother of her children had ventured to report all that happened to her.
On the other hand, on the charges brought against him, the 42-year-old has not been hired, who before the court has declared:
“” I'm neither terrorist nor criminal, I'm a normal man”, the accused said in the courtroom.
But according to the charges raised, whose report has been published by Austrian newspaper Heute.at, things were probably different.
Since she was 14 years old, she had been forced to marry the accused.
The horror began soon after the wedding: The aggressive man beat him and abused his wife constantly. The woman had to endure this way for years. Often, his children too have suffered suffering and mistreatment.
“in 2009 got worse: The man thought of a new method, especially cruel to torture his wife. To do that, he removed a cable from an electric camera in his home and placed it in his wife's wet body. She fell down and was in a life condition”, explained in the report, conveys albinfo.at.
The electrical shock could have been fatal, as if the current had automatically stopped. That's how one expert has described the case.
It took her years to find courage and leave her abusive husband. In 2020, she fled to a shelter for women with her children. But in 2021 the woman who was going through a traumatic period was able to report on her terrible experiences of violence.
However, the defendant's lawyer rejected the charge of electrical shock. “The history with the electric cable is”, he said.
Meanwhile, the court seems to have assessed things differently. It sentenced the Albanian to 18 years in prison for attempted murder and continued violence for years.
However, the decision is not yet legally binding.
