Relations between Kosovo and Montenegro must deepen and develop with higher forms of co-operation for economy and trade, says Mladen Peraziq, director of the Education Sector in Montenegro's Economic Ode.
Director Peraziq has told Kosovo Press that companies from Montenegro are interested in investing in Kosovo and implementing joint projects.
He has said, among other things, that the two states have potential for investing, Montenegro for tourism and Kosovo in different sectors.
(Co-operation) with the Kosovo Business and Economic Ods Committee is very good. They have a long tradition of co-operation by participating in many joint projects, we are also co-operating under the Western Balkan Fund (WBF) is the investment form of the odas, established several years ago, and through that we are implementing many projects for joint interests”, says Peraziq.
The director at the Economic Ode in Montenegro, who participated in the regional conference in Pristina organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kosovo, has said such activity is an opportunity to introduce the economies of two states, Kosovo Montenegro.
This is also an opportunity to show our activities and our dedication in this process to improve co-operation between the business community of Montenegro and Kosovo. And this is a good opportunity to meet people, introduce our state economies and help co-operation”, he says.
Recent trade reports with CEFTA countries show that Kosovo imported 100m euros from CEFTA countries while exporting 32m euros.
While the main partner for export from CEFTA countries is: Albania 14.8 percent, Serbia 9.2 percent, Macedonia 8.4 percent, Montenegro 4.4 percent. Shaban/
