The current government has consistently pressed charges towards past governments that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been led by non-competitive, not meritier people who have been admitted without procedures.
The opposition does not comment on these claims, saying there are legal procedures that prove or not these claims, and that so far in the MPJD, there have been capable diplomats, but former Minister Melza Haradinaj- Stublla does not rule out that there are even non-meritious people.
This is not rule out the fact that there is a diplomatic body, it's not a majority but that they are completely unprofessional, non-merital people, people completely without diplomatic ability, who would respond to the challenges we have today, or the ambitions that Kosovo has for membership, new recognitions, and other actions, because they are not just these, and all of these make the Ministry of Foreign Affairs a very problematic ministry in the government of Kosovo and so I can say that it has been from the founding of the new, unfortunately<1>, she said.
She has added that there are a number of diplomats who are professional and are pillars of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. But, as she says, MPJD has been the kind of base that has been rewarded and party trophies given.
The “has been given trophies for party awards, and this has happened to all political parties that have managed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so even nepotism, chronism and all these negative phenomena exist there”, Haradinaj-Subla has indicated.
According to her, it is not a solution to dismiss these diplomats immediately because these diplomats coming in without merit and controversial legal and procedural procedures have signed for the Republic of Kosovo over 10 years, represented the Republic of Kosovo in various diplomatic institutions, signed contracts and agreements on behalf of Kosovo.
To that end, she says that during the time of leading this ministry, she had left a Vettingu strategy ready, but that this has not been continued by the current minister.
So I've lobbied and left a ready diplomatic Vetting strategy, unfortunately, Vettingu has aimed at not eliminating people, not firing people, getting people out of work, but reorganizing the ministry in order to capitalise on the potential that exists, establishing people according to professional, moral and ethical integrity, and also identifying gaps or spaces where we could improve we can then release contests and get professional people where those resources are lacking in human resources -- <18x> /Betimy for Justice
