The visit has been made on the occasion of the launch of full-fledged speculation at Durres ports for goods with a destination Republic of Kosovo.
Exhausting goods at Durres ports enables Kosovo's economy to practically have access to the sea, thus facilitating the penetration of local businesses into international markets.
Minister Murati said that “with the current modalisation of the functioning of the customs at Durres ports will cut costs for businesses and consumers to about 2m euros, while improving the schedule will be reflected in creating optimum conditions for attracting foreign investment to the country. ”
Minister Ibrahimaj, on her side, said that continuing goods with the destination of Kosovo in the port of Durres is only the next step in our trade relations, emphasising once again the Albanian Government's commitment to deepening interstate co-operation.
Kosovo customs has been located at the port of Durres since 2019, but only the registration of access to goods that have been destined for the Republic of Kosovo, without having any impact on the reduction of cost or time for businesses and consumers. /Periscopi/
