Today the European Political Community, Kosovo participating for the first time

The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has travelled to Prague, where she will represent Kosovo at the first European Political Community Summit (EPC). This inaugural meeting will bring together heads of state from 44 European continent nations in order to promote political dialogue and strengthen co-operation to address the most urgent issues of security and stability in Europe.
In addition to participating in key European Political Community sessions, Osmani will hold bilateral meetings with European leaders to discuss deepening co-operation to overcome common challenges.
From the presidency reveals that, “ahead of European leaders, Osman will convey the message of the steadfast devotion of the people and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic integration as guarantee of lasting peace in the region and beyond. During bilateral meetings, Osman will also discuss support for Kosovo's membership in international organisations”.
The European Political Community is the platform for political co-ordination created on the basis of French President Emmanuel Macron's proposal, and on which leaders of the 27 European Union member states will join (BE) and leaders of 17 other European countries.
This initiative aims to promote dialogue and co-operation on issues of common interest, strengthen security, stability and prosperity on the European continent.
