Rama has said that this thought comes as he serves the truth constantly.
His statement has come in the wake of representatives of some of the Council of Europe's member states' reactions, following his call for Western countries to drop charges brought against former KLA fighters in the Specialised Chambers.
Representatives of Serbia, Romania and Greece have called his demands and statements on behalf of Kosovo meaningless.
Rama, however, has said he is only sharing facts.
The only person I would understand from what I heard is the Serbian colleague, she's obviously shocked because she's going to have to live with this, make the recognition of Kosovo and build a common future together with Kosovo. There are many people in Albania and Kosovo who think I am a Serb agent. I am proud to serve the truth. When my truth is good for Serbia, it's good, when it's not good it's still good. I claim to give the truth of my nation that I proudly represent”, Rama said.
Rama declared at the Council of Europe General Assembly that former Kosovo Liberation Army soldiers fought clean and fair, while saying the charges brought against them were part of the human imagination.
Rama has recently been highly criticised for his proximity to Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq. He has sometimes protected “Vocinjin about Belgrade's official reluctance to impose sanctions on Russia for aggression in Ukraine. Rama has argued that “is not easy for” and has been criticised in Kosovo and Albania.
