Serbian top diplomat Nikola Selakovic, who has repeatedly referred to Kosovo Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla at the UN Security Council session, where the report was discussed U n NMIC, Minister Gervala himself has returned an answer shortly before the hearing was concluded. She has shown why Selakovic does not [...]

She's been telling why Sellakovic can't mention his last name, Gervala.

She has reasons related to her father, hero Yusuf Gervala, who has been persecuted and killed by Serbian security.

I don't want to bore you with these personal attacks, but I couldn't get through this. Mr. Selakovic can't call me after his name, which is not Schwarz, this is my husband's. My last name is Gervailla and there's a reason why Sakkovic can't call me by that last name. This is my father's last name, which Belgrade has deported to Germany. He was a writer, journalist, musician and was killed by the Serbian security service”, Gervala said.

The minister has said that the last name Grovall presents a dark story to the Serbian state.

This is very difficult to mention the last name Gervala, because it is a big dark hole in Serbia's conscience. I could spend a lot of time reacting to a lot of things, only I wouldn't react because I respect the time of this honored body”, she stated.

Among other things, Minister Gervala has said that despite Serbia's deliberate obstacles, Kosovo continues to develop in all aspects and score progress. It has invited session participants to refer to international reports, to see the progress being noted in Kosovo.
