The doctor's escape, the minister of health, seeks help from retired anesthesiologists

Patients in Kosovo, who suffer from blood veins problems, must wait up to three years to conduct an operation at the Kosovo University Clinical Centre's Vascular Surgery Clinic. The primary cause of expectations according to clinic directors is the lack of anesthesiologists. So are the Toracal and [...] clinics.
Health Minister Rifat Latifi has sought help from retired anesthesiologists.
Of the latter, he has requested cooperation, support and creative ideas to get out of the chaos that has been created in the SchSKUK clinics.
“Minister of Health of the Republic of Kosovo Dr. Rifat Latifi hosted a group of retired anesthesiologists today. At this meeting, Minister Latifi, I request from retired anesthesiologists, support and creative ideas to help field and anesthesiology services based on their academic and professional experiences, said the MSH report.
No surgery was performed at the Toraque Clinic in CKUK today, due to lack of anesthesiologists
Minister Latifi told anesthesiologists that Kosovo's health system, and especially KKUK, needs a proper reshuffle, with emphasis on anesthesiology services where there is a lack of framework.
Thus, retired anesthesiologists expressed themselves ready to support Minister Latifi and commitments to improve the situation and health services.
“The negotiators agreed that with joint team work and with the contribution and experience of even those who can still contribute can make changes and improve services and the health situation”, it is further said.
